System Requirements
The minimum recommended workstation profile for running LEAP Bridge Steel is:
- Operating System – Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit), Windows 8 (32 and 64 bit) and Windows 10 (32 and 64 bit)
Bentley does not support its software running on Microsoft operating systems versions that Microsoft has "retired". Microsoft has already deprecated support for Windows XP and "retire" it in 2014. Systems with increased capacity provide enhanced performance.
- System Memory – minimum of 8GB, 32 GB recommended.
More memory almost always improves performance, particularly when working with larger models.
- Hard Disk – 700 MB free disk space (which includes the 300 MB install footprint for a complete installation).
- Central processing unit (CPU) – Processor Intel® or AMD® processor 2.0 GHz or greater.

- Graphics – Graphics card and monitor with 1280x1024 resolution , 256 color display (16 bit high color recommended).
- Software Prerequisites – Windows Installer 3.1
